Wait, why did Adrien Brody and Willem Defoe et al walk for Prada?
Update- Okay, based on the “replies” I’m getting to this.. let me clarify my sarcasm.
Miuccia ran through some whole thing about how the collection was about power and how actors are exemplary of that and how models are actors and actors are models and some other crap that sounded silly and not all that well thought-out. For a vaguely “conceptual” designer, the concept of this show was lost on me. I found it distracting from the clothes and from any point she was trying to make, and I thought it detracted from the look of the show on a purely visual level. And it just seemed contrived. That’s it. Yes. Obviously “because they can” but go read further and you’ll perhaps see a bit more.
